The event\u2019s aim was to help the Centro de Apoio \u00e0 Crian\u00e7a com C\u00e2ncer (CACC), an institute destined to give assistance to children with cancer located in Santa Maria, with hair donations to make wigs destined to children and women in treatment. Thus, any person of the local community was invited to participate in the act, in exchange for the hair donation the participant earned a free new haircut. Each participant should donate at least 15cm of hair or could bring hair strands ready to donate. The event lasted 4 hours during the afternoon, in which, beyond three hairdressers and WIE UFSM members, more than 30 volunteers attended.
