Amanda Scherer \u00e9 professora titular de Lingu\u00edstica da UFSM&nbsp;no Departamento de Letras Cl\u00e1ssicas e Lingu\u00edstica e professora da gradua\u00e7\u00e3o&nbsp;e da p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Letras na mesma universidade, desde mar\u00e7o de 1982.&nbsp;Possui gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Letras Franc\u00eas e especializa\u00e7\u00e3o em L\u00edngua Portuguesa&nbsp;pela UFSM. \u00c9 mestre e doutora em Lingu\u00edstica, Semi\u00f3tica e Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o pela&nbsp;Universit\u00e9 de Franche-Comt\u00e9, Besan\u00e7on, Fran\u00e7a (CAPES 1988\/1992).
