{"id":356,"date":"2016-08-24T16:33:56","date_gmt":"2016-08-24T19:33:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ufsm.br\/comunicacao\/arco\/2016\/08\/24\/post356\/"},"modified":"2021-05-26T22:57:26","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T01:57:26","slug":"post356","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ufsm.br\/midias\/arco\/post356","title":{"rendered":"Perspectivas agr\u00edcolas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Anualmente, a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o para a Coopera\u00e7\u00e3o e Desenvolvimento Econ\u00f4mico (OCDE), juntamente \u00e0 Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para Agricultura e Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o (FAO), divulga um relat\u00f3rio das perspectivas agr\u00edcolas mundiais para a pr\u00f3xima d\u00e9cada. A vers\u00e3o de 2015-2024 abordou as possibilidades para o cen\u00e1rio da agricultura brasileira, avaliando produtos agr\u00edcolas, biocombust\u00edveis e peixes.<\/p>\n<p>No Brasil, a agricultura e a pecu\u00e1ria representam 23% do Produto Interno Bruto nacional. Al\u00e9m disso, segundo o IBGE, enquanto setores como ind\u00fastria e servi\u00e7os sofreram queda de crescimento, a agropecu\u00e1ria cresceu 1,8%, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a 2014. De 1990 a 2012, as terras brasileiras cultiv\u00e1veis aumentaram em 34 milh\u00f5es de hectares. A diversidade de climas e solos brasileiros possibilita uma agricultura variada, fazendo do pa\u00eds o segundo maior exportador agr\u00edcola do mundo, principalmente de caf\u00e9, a\u00e7\u00facar e suco de laranja. \u00c9, tamb\u00e9m, grande produtor de milho, arroz e carne bovina, consumidos principalmente pelo mercado interno.<\/p>\n<p>O relat\u00f3rio da ODCE-FAO constatou que as perspectivas agr\u00edcolas brasileiras s\u00e3o positivas, embora haja tend\u00eancia de crescimento mais lento tanto para o consumo interno, quanto para o externo. O uso de terras para as principais safras de 2024 deve alcan\u00e7ar 69,4 milh\u00f5es de hectares, 20% a mais do que a \u00e1rea utilizada at\u00e9 2014. No entanto, um dos maiores desafios que o Brasil deve enfrentar \u00e9 conseguir manter a produtividade e o aumento da produ\u00e7\u00e3o, e garantir que os avan\u00e7os estejam conciliados com a diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da pobreza e a sustentabilidade ambiental.<\/p>\n<p>Abaixo podemos conferir as expectativas para os principais produtos cultivados no Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>* Mt: milh\u00f5s de
