Alguns astronautas e estudiosos est\u00e3o sempre atr\u00e1s de novos saberes e, at\u00e9 agora, muita coisa j\u00e1 foi descoberta. Por\u00e9m, ainda surgem d\u00favidas e o que sabemos \u00e9 uma gota perto da imensid\u00e3o que \u00e9 o espa\u00e7o.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nesse sentido, a Arco apresenta algumas curiosidades sobre o espa\u00e7o e os astronautas que realizam estudos por l\u00e1 &#8211; sim, existem astronautas em \u00f3rbita neste momento! J\u00e1 em Tiangong, eram tr\u00eas astronautas da Administra\u00e7\u00e3o Espacial Nacional da China (CNSA\/China).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>3 &#8211;<\/strong> Astronautas de origem russa ou da extinta Uni\u00e3o Sovi\u00e9tica s\u00e3o chamados de <strong>cosmonautas<\/strong>, enquanto os de origem chinesa s\u00e3o chamados de <strong>taikonautas<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4 &#8211; <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>O nome formal da roupa dos astronautas \u00e9 Unidade de Mobilidade Extraveicular (EMU \u2013 Extravehicular Mobility Unit).<\/strong> O seu uso \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio pois existe uma grande varia\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica no espa\u00e7o que, a depender da ilumina\u00e7\u00e3o solar, pode ir de -150\u00baC&nbsp; a +120\u00baC em quest\u00e3o de minutos. Al\u00e9m disso, os trajes espaciais protegem contra a radia\u00e7\u00e3o, luz do sol, lixo espacial e fornecem \u00e1gua e oxig\u00eanio. A gravidade as puxa em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao centro da Terra &#8211; inclusive as esta\u00e7\u00f5es espaciais e os astronautas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>7 &#8211; Para tomar banho, os astronautas utilizam pequenas toalhas umedecidas, um sab\u00e3o e um xampu especial.<\/strong> A \u00e1gua para o banho \u00e9 provida em pequenas bolsas e, assim como a \u00e1gua da urina e da umidade da respira\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 capturada e reciclada pelo <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.esa.int\/var\/esa\/storage\/images\/esa_multimedia\/images\/2017\/09\/recycling_water_on_the_iss_how_it_works_pt._2\/17131673-2-eng-GB\/Recycling_water_on_the_ISS_How_it_works_pt._2_pillars.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201csistema de suporte \u00e0 vida e controle ambiental<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201d, recondicionada e reutilizada.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">8 &#8211;<\/span> At\u00e9 93% de toda a \u00e1gua utilizada \u00e9 recuperada para uso &#8211; aproximadamente 6 mil litros de \u00e1gua por ano.<\/strong> A \u00e1gua \u00e9 reciclada com o uso de destiladores rotacionais, filtros, e um processo de cat\u00e1lise de alta temperatura que remove microorganismos e outros contaminantes. Dessa forma, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">os rel\u00f3gios em velocidade orbital &#8211; no espa\u00e7o &#8211; ir\u00e3o estar atrasados em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao rel\u00f3gio na Terra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">J\u00e1 com a Teoria Geral da Relatividade, Einstein mostra que o tempo desacelera na presen\u00e7a de objetos massivos, pois a massa afeta a estrutura do Espa\u00e7o-Tempo. Assim, um rel\u00f3gio em altitude orbital avan\u00e7ar\u00e1 com rela\u00e7\u00e3o a um rel\u00f3gio na superf\u00edcie da Terra (ou de outro planeta).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Rel\u00f3gios em \u00f3rbita ent\u00e3o combinam esses dois efeitos relativ\u00edsticos: <\/span><b>atrasam com a velocidade na qual se deslocam em \u00f3rbita, mas avan\u00e7am devido \u00e0 sua dist\u00e2ncia da superf\u00edcie da Terra.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>13 &#8211; <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>A diferen\u00e7a resultante entre o que acontece em \u00f3rbita com rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Terra \u00e9 muito pequena para ser percebida por seres humanos, mas pode afetar os sistemas espaciais de forma significativa<\/strong>, principalmente aqueles que funcionam com base na sincroniza\u00e7\u00e3o de tempo, envolvendo a intera\u00e7\u00e3o entre sistemas orbitais e sistemas terrestres, como \u00e9 o caso do conjunto, ou constela\u00e7\u00e3o, de sat\u00e9lites do Sistema de Posicionamento Global (GPS).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>14 &#8211; <\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Boa parte das atividades dos astronautas em \u00f3rbita est\u00e3o relacionadas \u00e0 manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas e esta\u00e7\u00f5es espaciais.<\/strong> Outras observa\u00e7\u00f5es est\u00e3o ligadas \u00e0 an\u00e1lise do corpo humano e do comportamento dos sistemas biol\u00f3gicos em ambiente espacial, buscando formas de mitigar problemas fisiol\u00f3gicos durante uma miss\u00e3o, e prever poss\u00edveis consequ\u00eancias que afetam a sa\u00fade dos astronautas mesmo ap\u00f3s o retorno \u00e0 Terra.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>15<i> &#8211; <\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>At\u00e9 ent\u00e3o, nenhuma forma de vida extraterrestre foi identificada nesses estudos, nem em amostras colhidas por astronautas, nem em amostras colhidas por sondas rob\u00f3ticas<\/strong> &#8211; naves espaciais n\u00e3o tripuladas. Por\u00e9m, muitos experimentos s\u00e3o feitos, os quais v\u00eam mostrando que a vida pode existir mesmo no v\u00e1cuo do espa\u00e7o &#8211; o que abre novas possibilidades para a busca por vida extraterrestre.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>16 &#8211; O recorde de estadia ininterrupta em ambiente espacial \u00e9 do cosmonauta Valeri V. Polyakov, que permaneceu na esta\u00e7\u00e3o espacial sovi\u00e9tica MIR por 437 dias e 18 horas.<\/strong> A MIR, cujo nome significa \u201cpaz\u201d em Russo, foi a primeira esta\u00e7\u00e3o orbital projetada para ser montada em \u00f3rbita, com o processo de montagem tendo sido realizado atrav\u00e9s de m\u00faltiplos lan\u00e7amentos orbitais enviados entre 1986 e 1996. Ela foi&nbsp; desativada em 2001.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>17 &#8211;<\/strong> Conforme comenta o professor Marcelo Zanetti, <strong>a \u00faltima vez que foram abertas sele\u00e7\u00f5es para virar astronauta no Brasil foi em 1998.<\/strong> A Ag\u00eancia Espacial Brasileira (AEB) selecionou Marcos Pontes, atual ministro da<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Ci\u00eancia, Tecnologia e Inova\u00e7\u00f5es (MCTI), <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">para se tornar o primeiro astronauta brasileiro, atrav\u00e9s de um conv\u00eanio com a NASA. Desde ent\u00e3o, n\u00e3o foi aberta mais nenhuma sele\u00e7\u00e3o. Mas, para quem tem interesse &#8211; e dupla cidadania -, Zanetti comenta que existe a possibilidade de participar da sele\u00e7\u00e3o de outros pa\u00edses. Ele recomenda entrar no site dessas ag\u00eancias e conferir os principais requisitos.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>18 &#8211;<\/strong> O professor Eduardo Escobar conta que entre os <strong>principais requisitos para se tornar um astronauta<\/strong> est\u00e3o: gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e, no m\u00ednimo mestrado, nas \u00e1reas de ci\u00eancias, engenharias, f\u00edsica, matem\u00e1tica ou ci\u00eancias biol\u00f3gicas e medicina.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Anos de experi\u00eancia profissional, ser fluente em ingl\u00eas, ter alguma experi\u00eancia em pilotar aeronaves e ter treinamento em nata\u00e7\u00e3o, mergulho e t\u00e9cnicas de sobreviv\u00eancia. Al\u00e9m da parte t\u00e9cnica, o processo seletivo tamb\u00e9m leva muito em conta capacidades pessoais e interpessoais.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>19 &#8211; Na UFSM, o curso de Engenharia Aeroespacial qualifica o aluno para trabalhar em sistemas tanto aeron\u00e1uticos quanto espaciais.<\/strong> O curso possui disciplinas espec\u00edficas sobre sistemas aeron\u00e1uticos, ve\u00edculos lan\u00e7adores (foguetes) e sistemas espaciais (sondas e sat\u00e9lites).
