A <\/span><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fao.org\/global-soil-partnership\/inbs\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rede Internacional de Solos Negros (INBS)<\/a><\/u><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">, \u00f3rg\u00e3o integrante da <\/span><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fao.org\/home\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para a Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e a Agricultura (FAO)<\/a><\/u><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">, \u00e9 uma dessas iniciativas que re\u00fane especialistas para discutir quest\u00f5es relacionadas \u00e0 conserva\u00e7\u00e3o e ao manejo dos chamados <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: italic;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">black soils<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">.<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top: 10pt;margin-bottom: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">Os solos negros s\u00e3o caracterizados pela cor escura e se destacam pelo alto potencial de armazenamento de carbono, caracter\u00edstica fundamental na luta contra as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas. Isso porque, ao aumentar os estoques de carbono no solo, os n\u00edveis de di\u00f3xido de carbono (principal g\u00e1s respons\u00e1vel pelo efeito estufa) s\u00e3o reduzidos na atmosfera. Al\u00e9m disso, a presen\u00e7a do carbono no solo traz melhorias em suas propriedades f\u00edsicas, qu\u00edmicas e biol\u00f3gicas, tornando-o mais produtivo e f\u00e9rtil.<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top: 10pt;margin-bottom: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">Mas, segundo a FAO, os solos negros est\u00e3o sob amea\u00e7a. Nesse contexto, precisamos compreender o solo como um componente da natureza que \u00e9 essencial para a vida como conhecemos no nosso planeta, por isso, (re)conhecer suas m\u00faltiplas fun\u00e7\u00f5es, medir diversas vari\u00e1veis, restaurar sua capacidade de suportar a vida s\u00e3o muito importantes n\u00e3o s\u00f3 como linha de pesquisa, mas para a nossa sobreviv\u00eancia. Esses solos s\u00e3o encontrados em diversas regi\u00f5es do planeta, existe uma \u00e1rea de aproximadamente 725 milh\u00f5es de hectares, o que compreende 7% dos solos do mundo. Cerca de metade desses solos est\u00e3o no territ\u00f3rio da R\u00fassia, seguido por Cazaquist\u00e3o e China. Eles s\u00e3o essenciais para sustentar a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos, a diversidade da vida e uma s\u00e9rie de servi\u00e7os ecossist\u00eamicos. Em muitos pa\u00edses eles s\u00e3o considerados a &#8220;cesta de alimentos&#8221;, pois s\u00e3o os solos que sustentam a produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola, garantem os alimentos \u00e0 popula\u00e7\u00e3o e sustentam boa parte da economia. Para se ter uma dimens\u00e3o da import\u00e2ncia desses solos, podemos citar alguns dados: aproximadamente 66% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de sementes de girassol, 30% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de trigo e 26% da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de batata no mundo prov\u00eam dos <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: italic;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">black soils<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">. Milho, cevada, soja, pastagens e algod\u00e3o s\u00e3o outros exemplos de culturas desenvolvidas sobre eles. Al\u00e9m disso, muitas comunidades vivem sobre esses solos, como \u00e9 o caso de 93% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o da Mold\u00e1via e 52% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o da Ucr\u00e2nia. Estar presente nesses espa\u00e7os \u00e9 uma quest\u00e3o estrat\u00e9gica, de geopol\u00edtica, por isso, o nosso pa\u00eds n\u00e3o pode ficar de fora dos grandes debates ambientais e de produ\u00e7\u00e3o agr\u00edcola. No entanto, para ser ouvido \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio investir em pesquisa, desenvolver tecnologia e planejar o longo prazo. Se n\u00f3s n\u00e3o pesquisarmos sobre os nossos recursos naturais, outros pa\u00edses ir\u00e3o faz\u00ea-lo e, nesse sentido, \u00e9 uma quest\u00e3o de soberania nacional. Nenhum pa\u00eds \u00e9 completamente soberano sem conhecer o seu pr\u00f3prio territ\u00f3rio e recursos.
