N\u00e3o s\u00e3o \u00a0intoc\u00e1veis, mas somente pode haver interven\u00e7\u00e3o no caso de utilidade p\u00fablica, interesse social \u00a0ou baixo impacto hectares<\/i>,\u00a0 contendo diversificados tipos de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o, cobertura do solo, recursos h\u00eddricos,\u00a0 barramentos de \u00e1guas naturais e \u00e1rea \u00famidas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Desse montante, de acordo com as especifica\u00e7\u00f5es de caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o de <i><b>\u00c1reas de\u00a0 Preserva\u00e7\u00e3o Permanente<\/b>, Cap\u00edtulo II da Lei N\u00ba 12.651\/2012<\/i>, h\u00e1 um total de 297,2 ha de\u00a0 APPs, onde 152,3 ha j\u00e1 est\u00e3o estabelecidos entre \u00e1reas com vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o arbustiva e\/ou arb\u00f3rea\u00a0 e \u00e1reas \u00famidas, restando 144,9 ha com necessidade de recomposi\u00e7\u00e3o. Isso ser\u00e1 feito por meio de\u00a0 atividade de um projeto da empresa SUSTENTASUL Consultoria e Gest\u00e3o Ambiental \u2013 EIRELLI, de forma a auxiliar a Institui\u00e7\u00e3o a alcan\u00e7ar as metas do CAR e colaborar na\u00a0 implanta\u00e7\u00e3o de bosques com fomento \u00e0 pesquisa, desenvolvimento e atividades de extens\u00e3o\u00a0 para professores e alunos da UFSM. Essa recomposi\u00e7\u00e3o da faixa de APP, ser\u00e1 alinhada ao\u00a0 Plano de Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00c1rea Degradada (PRAD) que ser\u00e1 exigido pelo \u00f3rg\u00e3o licenciador\u00a0 \u00e0 UFSM. Al\u00e9m da recomposi\u00e7\u00e3o ocorrer nas \u00c1reas de Preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da zona urbana da UFSM\u00a0 (figura 2), tamb\u00e9m v\u00e3o ocorrer na zona rural da Institui\u00e7\u00e3o (figura
