A Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), por meio do Observat\u00f3rio de Direitos Humanos (ODH) e em parceria com o Grupo de Pesquisa e Extens\u00e3o Direitos Humanos e Mobilidade Humana Internacional (Migraidh\/C\u00e1tedra S\u00e9rgio Vieira de Mello), lan\u00e7a a Chamada P\u00fablica do Programa Humanit\u00e1rio \u2013 Refugiados Palestinos. A iniciativa conta com o apoio das Pr\u00f3-Reitorias de P\u00f3s-Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e Pesquisa (PRPGP), Gest\u00e3o de Pessoas (PROGEP), Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o (PROGRAD) e Assuntos Estudantis (PRAE), assim como da Diretoria de Rela\u00e7\u00f5es Internacionais (DRI).<\/p>

O programa tem como objetivo acolher refugiados palestinos, fortalecendo as rela\u00e7\u00f5es acad\u00eamicas entre esses sujeitos e a UFSM. Ser\u00e3o ofertadas 10 vagas para ingresso em cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e 3 vagas para professor visitante.<\/span><\/p>

The Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), through the Human Rights Observatory (ODH) and in partnership with the Research and Outreach Group on Human Rights and International Human Mobility (Migraidh\/S\u00e9rgio Vieira de Mello Chair), is launching the Public Call for the Humanitarian Program \u2013 Palestinian Refugees. The initiative is supported by the Offices of Graduate Studies and Research (PRPGP), Human Resources Management (PROGEP), Undergraduate Studies (PROGRAD), and Student Affairs (PRAE), as well as the Office of International Affairs (DRI).<\/p>

The program aims to welcome Palestinian refugees and strengthen academic relations between these individuals and UFSM. It will offer 10 openings for undergraduate courses and 3 positions for visiting professors.<\/p>

A inscri\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 on-line, e o local onde a pessoa palestina se encontra no momento (Gaza, Egito ou outro pa\u00eds) n\u00e3o impede a candidatura, desde que atenda aos crit\u00e9rios do edital. A eventual emiss\u00e3o de visto para o Brasil ocorre apenas ap\u00f3s a sele\u00e7\u00e3o, com orienta\u00e7\u00f5es espec\u00edficas.<\/span><\/p>\n

Answer: Students approved under this program will be able to apply for the Socioeconomic Benefit Program (PBSE) after their admission to the University. The PBSE program entitles the selected student to: Free meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at UFSM University Restaurants; Participation in the selection processes for the UFSM Student Housing Program; Participation in the selection processes for the Transportation Assistance Program; Participation in the selection processes for the Teaching Material Assistance Program; Access to dental care available to students on the Santa Maria campus; Access to primary healthcare for residents of the Student House; Participation in other calls for applications related to assistance provided under the National Student Assistance Policy.
