Geoparque Mundial da UNESCO, o projeto Progredir permite uma nova conex\u00e3o entre os moradores e o local no qual (con)vivem. O projeto busca repensar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre a humanidade e a natureza, promovendo o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel por meio da valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o do territ\u00f3rio. Ao incentivar a inova\u00e7\u00e3o unida \u00e0s tradi\u00e7\u00f5es e caracter\u00edsticas locais, as forma\u00e7\u00f5es ofertadas pelo projeto Progredir Geoparque Quarta Col\u00f4nia fomentam uma cadeia econ\u00f4mica que zela pelo bem-estar do planeta e, ao mesmo tempo, gera empregos e renda aos moradores.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Partindo da compreens\u00e3o que o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel envolve planejamento a longo prazo e que os recursos naturais s\u00e3o finitos, os cursos do Progredir articularam saberes tradicionais e populares da popula\u00e7\u00e3o da Quarta Col\u00f4nia com t\u00e9cnicas desenvolvidas na UFSM.
