Na manh\u00e3 da \u00faltima quarta-feira (6), foi sediado no Jardim Bot\u00e2nico da UFSM o <\/span>V Conecta Territ\u00f3rio Imembuy: Informa\u00e7\u00e3o e Trabalho em Rede<\/span>. Com o objetivo de compartilhar informa\u00e7\u00f5es e potencializar a articula\u00e7\u00e3o entre as equipes envolvidas, o evento exp\u00f4s a\u00e7\u00f5es que re\u00fanem a comunidade acad\u00eamica e a popula\u00e7\u00e3o residente em prol do turismo, da ci\u00eancia e da inova\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0 <\/span>
<\/span>
<\/span>O coordenador de Desenvolvimento Regional, Leandro Nunes Gabbi, apresentou propostas e protocolos para a expans\u00e3o sustent\u00e1vel da economia e do conhecimento nos munic\u00edpios integrantes do Territ\u00f3rio Imembuy. Conectando atrativos naturais, hist\u00f3ricos e culturais, como os geoparques existentes na regi\u00e3o central do estado, o projeto fomenta o crescimento regional e consolida a identidade da regi\u00e3o central do Rio Grande do Sul.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A iniciativa \u00e9 vinculada \u00e0<\/span> Coordenadoria de Desenvolvimento Regional (CODER-PRE) e<\/span> engloba cerca de 40 munic\u00edpios, que somam uma popula\u00e7\u00e3o estimada em mais de 700 mil habitantes. Segundo a chefe da Subdivis\u00e3o de Geoparques da UFSM, Bibiana Schiavini, o projeto atua diretamente em 19 munic\u00edpios, tendo reconhecimento mundial da UNESCO para os Geoparques Ca\u00e7apava e Quarta Col\u00f4nia, al\u00e9m de incluir o projeto Geoparque Ra\u00edzes de Pedra e Santa Maria.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bibiana ressalta que o Territ\u00f3rio Imembuy \u00e9 uma estrat\u00e9gia que tamb\u00e9m fortalece a\u00a0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o e a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de renda por meio da extens\u00e3o universit\u00e1ria. Para 2026, est\u00e1 prevista a miss\u00e3o de revalida\u00e7\u00e3o da UNESCO nos geoparques Quarta Col\u00f4nia e Ca\u00e7apava para a continuidade das a\u00e7\u00f5es nas localidades.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

De acordo com a reitora da UFSM, Prof.\u00aa Martha Bohrer Adaime, projetos como o Territ\u00f3rio Imembuy mostram \u00e0 sociedade como a institui\u00e7\u00e3o transforma realidades em diferentes \u00e1reas. Para ela, essa atua\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e3o abrangente rompe barreiras que dividem a comunidade geral e a acad\u00eamica. \u201cA UFSM est\u00e1 aqui, est\u00e1 em diversos lugares. N\u00e3o basta falar sobre o que a UFSM faz, \u00e9 preciso mostrar a mudan\u00e7a nos espa\u00e7os, porque amamos o que fazemos e isso faz toda a diferen\u00e7a\u201d, declarou.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
