Os professores Eduardo Escobar B\u00fcrger e Andrei Legg, coordenadores da engenharia do Programa, falam sobre nanosat\u00e9lites e as tecnologias geradas na universidade.<\/span><\/p><p><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-4a8ba151-7fff-7dc9-6922-572453230e10\"><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;vertical-align: baseline\">O Programa NanoSatC-BR tem sede na UFSM e iniciou suas atividades em 2006,\u00a0 em parceria com o Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (INPE). O pesquisador da Coordena\u00e7\u00e3o Espacial do Sul do INPE e pioneiro em CubeSats no Brasil, Nelson Jorge Schuch, criou o Programa para proporcionar a pr\u00e1tica com nanosat\u00e9lites para alunos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o por meio dos CubeSats. Em 2014, o programa fez o lan\u00e7amento do <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inpe.br\/crs\/nanosat\/\">NanoSatC-BR<\/a> 1, o primeiro nanossat\u00e9lite brasileiro a entrar em \u00f3rbita, uma conquista hist\u00f3rica para o pa\u00eds. Neste ano, com maiores investimentos e n\u00edveis de complexidade, foi lan\u00e7ado o NanoSatC-BR 2, um CubeSat com maior massa, maior tamanho, mais cargas \u00fateis e com uma opera\u00e7\u00e3o mais complexa. Tudo isso foi desenvolvido por alunos, professores, tecnologistas e pesquisadores.<\/span><\/p><p><span id=\"docs-internal-guid-72d903c9-7fff-51f4-e072-c289257f4623\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.38;text-align: justify;margin-top: 0pt;margin-bottom: 0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;font-family: Arial;color: #000000;background-color: transparent;font-weight: 400;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline\">Devido ao potencial da plataforma, a miss\u00e3o tomou propor\u00e7\u00f5es maiores e foram acrescentados o vi\u00e9s cient\u00edfico e o vi\u00e9s tecnol\u00f3gico nas miss\u00f5es do NanoSat. Por meio do vi\u00e9s cient\u00edfico, os nanosat\u00e9lites do Programa coletam dados do Campo Magn\u00e9tico Terrestre &#8211; principalmente na regi\u00e3o da Anomalia Magn\u00e9tica da Am\u00e9rica do Sul, a AMAS.
