Essa c\u00e9lula \u00e9 geneticamente \u00fanica porque metade de seus cromossomos vem da m\u00e3e e metade \u00e9 derivada do pai. Entre o 5\u00ba e o 6\u00ba dia aumentam os n\u00edveis de gonadotrofina cori\u00f4nica humana (aquela do teste de gravidez BetaHCG) e o embri\u00e3o continua a fazer muitas divis\u00f5es celulares. Mais ou menos aos 13 dias, come\u00e7a a forma\u00e7\u00e3o do sangue e dos vasos sangu\u00edneos do embri\u00e3o. <span style=\"background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">A partir do 14\u00ba dia ocorre a gastrula\u00e7\u00e3o que \u00e9 o processo pelo qual as tr\u00eas camadas germinativas precursoras de todos os tecidos embrion\u00e1rios, que formar\u00e3o obviamente o embri\u00e3o,\u00a0 ou seja, o ser humano. Isto \u00e9 um resumo do que acontece do momento em que ocorre a uni\u00e3o dos gametas masculino e feminino at\u00e9 o 14\u00ba dia.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;line-height: 150%\"><span style=\"color: black;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight )\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Agora vamos ao que realmente interessa:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;line-height: 150%\"><span style=\"color: black;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );line-height: 150%\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 A reuni\u00e3o da <i>International Society for Stem Cell Research<\/i> que ocorreu entre 14 e 17 de junho de 2023 no Estados Unidos, surpreendeu o mundo com o anuncio dos resultados preliminares <\/span><span style=\"color: black;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 12pt;font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );line-height: 150%;letter-spacing: 0.3pt\">da cria\u00e7\u00e3o das primeiras estruturas semelhantes a embri\u00f5es humanos. Essas estruturas s\u00e3o sint\u00e9ticas a partir de c\u00e9lulas-tronco, ou seja, sem a necessidade do ov\u00f3cito e do espermatozoide.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;line-height: 150%\"><span style=\"color: black;font-family: Arial, sans-serif;letter-spacing: 0.3pt;font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight )\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 De acordo com uma das l\u00edderes da equipe que desenvolveu os embri\u00f5es sint\u00e9ticos, a bi\u00f3loga pesquisadora e professora da Universidade de Cambridge, e do Instituto de Tecnologia da Calif\u00f3rnia Magdalena Zernicka-Goetz sua equipe cultivou os embri\u00f5es sint\u00e9ticos at\u00e9 os 14\u00ba dia na fase de gastrula\u00e7\u00e3o.
