A nutri\u00e7\u00e3o desempenha um papel fundamental na vida cotidiana das pessoas, n\u00e3o apenas como uma necessidade b\u00e1sica, mas tamb\u00e9m como uma preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o de sa\u00fade p\u00fablica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;text-indent: 36.0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;font-size: 12pt;text-indent: 36pt;font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight )\">Conforme indicado pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para Agricultura e Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, o crescimento econ\u00f4mico e as transforma\u00e7\u00f5es sociais desencadeiam altera\u00e7\u00f5es nas pr\u00e1ticas alimentares. Al\u00e9m disso, de acordo com a Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS), a depress\u00e3o \u00e9 considerada a enfermidade mais incapacitante do mundo, e os dados apontam para aumento do n\u00famero de casos nos pr\u00f3ximos anos. Desse modo, ao observar esses \u00edndices \u00e9 de grande import\u00e2ncia a busca pelo equil\u00edbrio adequado na obten\u00e7\u00e3o e consumo de alimentos, pois uma dieta desequilibrada (pobre em nutrientes e com alta ingest\u00e3o de alimentos a\u00e7ucarados e processados) pode desencadear al\u00e9m de DCNTs, como Obesidade, Diabetes Mellitus, Doen\u00e7as Cardiovasculares, tamb\u00e9m, a Depress\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;text-indent: 36.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;line-height: 115%;font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">Uma revis\u00e3o da literatura, publicada em 2020, buscou investigar a liga\u00e7\u00e3o da depress\u00e3o com a alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, demonstrou que v\u00e1rios nutrientes est\u00e3o aparentemente envolvidos na origem da doen\u00e7a, entre eles as vitaminas do complexo B, o \u00f4mega-3, minerais e prote\u00ednas, parece que a\u00a0\u00a0 defici\u00eancia est\u00e1 intimamente relacionada no surgimento de dist\u00farbios mentais. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;text-indent: 36.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;line-height: 115%;font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">\u00a0O consumo recorrente de alimentos industrializados, ricos em s\u00f3dio, a\u00e7\u00facares, gorduras trans e saturadas, e pobres em nutrientes, fazem com que o organismo entre em desequil\u00edbrio, gerando um quadro inflamat\u00f3rio\u00a0 <\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;text-indent: 36.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;line-height: 115%;font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">Lembrando que a rea\u00e7\u00e3o inflamat\u00f3ria quando controlada e somente em respostas a amea\u00e7as \u00e0s quais o organismo se exp\u00f5e, \u00e9 ben\u00e9fica e\u00a0 importante para a sobreviv\u00eancia. A rea\u00e7\u00e3o inflamat\u00f3ria se torna ruim, quando ela \u00e9 cr\u00f4nica, ou seja, quando adotamos regularmente h\u00e1bitos alimentares n\u00e3o saud\u00e1veis, sofremos de inflama\u00e7\u00e3o sist\u00eamica cr\u00f4nica de baixo grau (inflama\u00e7\u00e3o que persiste por meses ou anos), o que leva a altera\u00e7\u00f5es significativas em todos os tecidos e \u00f3rg\u00e3os e, por fim, aumenta o risco de desenvolver DCNTs. \u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;line-height: 115%;font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Outro estudo publicado pela revista <i>Clinical Nutrition<\/i> entrevistou pacientes idosos que estavam com depress\u00e3o no seu est\u00e1gio inicial e analisaram sua dieta por 3 anos o qual observaram que indiv\u00edduos que seguiram uma dieta pr\u00f3-inflamat\u00f3ria atrav\u00e9s de alimentos industrializados tiveram mais casos da doen\u00e7a durante o per\u00edodo de acompanhamento.\u00a0 Em contrapartida, os indiv\u00edduos que seguiram uma dieta anti-inflamat\u00f3ria, buscando um consumo regular de nutrientes, como vitaminas A, D e E, \u00e1cidos graxos e \u00f4mega-3, betacaroteno, zinco, magn\u00e9sio e sel\u00eanio, presentes em frutas, verduras, legumes&#8230; tiveram menos pensamentos depressivos e ansiosos. <\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;text-indent: 36.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;line-height: 115%;font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;background-image: initial;background-position: initial;background-size: initial;background-attachment: initial\">Desse modo, embora seja necess\u00e1rio realizar mais pesquisas para elucidar a rela\u00e7\u00e3o da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o com a depress\u00e3o, esses resultados sugerem que os h\u00e1bitos alimentares podem impactar significativamente na sa\u00fade mental, n\u00e3o apenas de adultos mais velhos, como tamb\u00e9m de jovens.
