Em 2023, a Universidade Federal de Santa Maria sedia o XVI Simp\u00f3sio Nacional da Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Brasileira de Pesquisadores em Cibercultura – ABCiber. O evento ser\u00e1 realizado na modalidade presencial e online, com uma programa\u00e7\u00e3o que contempla palestra com keynote speaker, confer\u00eancias, pain\u00e9is tem\u00e1ticos, mesas coordenadas, lan\u00e7amentos de livros, exposi\u00e7\u00f5es e exibi\u00e7\u00f5es art\u00edsticas, al\u00e9m de reuni\u00e3o cient\u00edfica, em torno do tema Informa\u00e7\u00e3o, Tecnodiversidade e Est\u00e9tica<\/b>.<\/p>\n

O objetivo deste evento de car\u00e1ter cient\u00edfico, tecnol\u00f3gico e art\u00edstico, em sua d\u00e9cima sexta edi\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 promover um espa\u00e7o inter, multi e transdisciplinar para debates, em que afloram contribui\u00e7\u00f5es, compreens\u00e3o e fundamenta\u00e7\u00e3o de conceitos e proposi\u00e7\u00f5es para um novo ambiente da cibercultura, bem como promover inova\u00e7\u00f5es e gera\u00e7\u00f5es de conhecimento envolvendo as \u00e1reas das artes, humanidades, ci\u00eancias e tecnologias.<\/p>\n

Ao entrela\u00e7ar quest\u00f5es relacionadas \u00e0 informa\u00e7\u00e3o, tecnodiversidade e est\u00e9tica, provoca pensar sobre a necessidade de garantir uma diversidade pol\u00edtica e tecnol\u00f3gica, a partir de um entendimento plural da tecnologia a fim de confrontar quest\u00f5es como o racismo, crise clim\u00e1tica e desigualdades sociais, econ\u00f4micas e tecnol\u00f3gicas, problem\u00e1ticas centrais de nosso tempo.<\/p>\n

Com apoio da UFSM, CAPES, FAPERGS e UNIFAE, o simp\u00f3sio \u00e9 organizado pela ABCiber e pela UFSM, atrav\u00e9s dos PPGs de Artes Visuais, de Letras e de Comunica\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
