A confer\u00eancia ““Simondon’s Thought in the Global South”<\/span> ser\u00e1 realizada na Universidade de Witwatersrand, \u00c1frica do Sul, em parceria com a Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Brasil, nos dias 7 e 8 de outubro de 2024. Este evento h\u00edbrido, acess\u00edvel tanto presencial e online, contar\u00e1 com uma programa\u00e7\u00e3o diversificada, incluindo palestra, pain\u00e9is de discuss\u00e3o, workshops e a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o “Ecos Qu\u00e2nticos da Humanidade” apresentada pelo WITS e LabInter\/UFSM. A confer\u00eancia pretende explorar a filosofia de Gilbert Simondon, com particular enfoque nas especificidades dos processos de individua\u00e7\u00e3o no Sul Global e nas suas rela\u00e7\u00f5es com as tecnologias emergentes. Isto representa uma reterritorializa\u00e7\u00e3o desterritorializante da filosofia de Simondon, onde existem diferentes condi\u00e7\u00f5es hist\u00f3ricas, culturais e tecnol\u00f3gicas.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n International Seminar: “Simondon’s Thought in the Global South”<\/b><\/p>\n The conference “Simondon’s Thought in the Global South” will be held at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in partnership with the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, on the 7th and 8th of October 2024. This hybrid event, accessible both in person and online, will feature a diverse program, including a keynote lecture, panel discussions, workshops, and the “Quantum Echoes of Humanity” exhibition presented by WITS and LabInter\/UFSM. The conference aims to explore Gilbert Simondon’s philosophy, with a particular focus on the specificities of individuation processes in the Global South and their relationships with emerging technologies.
