On August 12, 2019, in the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) there was a lecture to publicize the IEEE student branch and the other society that were founded. The lecture was aimed at new graduate students in electrical engineering. During the event, the benefits of being an IEEE member, the activities that the student branch of UFSM has been developing and the contests that the student branch and its members are participating in were mentioned. The lecture was ministered by Guilherme Hübner.
Objectives:
– Publicize the IEEE student branch of UFSM.
-Publicize the opportunities to be an IEEE member and of each specific society.
-Publish the activities and work already carried out by the student branch.
