Analysis of food, pharmaceutical samples, medicinal plants, effluents, petroleum, fuels, biofuels, sediments, soils and polymers
LAQIA performs the analysis of several types of samples determining the presence and concentration of metals, nonmetals, ashes and water in these samples.

The determinations are performed by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS – F AAS and GF AAS), inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry (ICP OES), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), ion chromatography), potentiometry, volumetry and gravimetry.

- Heavy metals (arsenic, cadmium, copper, tin, antimony, lead, bismuth, silver, mercury, molybdenum, palladium, rhodium, ruthenium, chromium, nickel and vanadium) by AAS, ICP OES and/or ICP-MS;
- Rare earth elements (scandium, yttrium, lanthanum, praseodymium, neodymium, promethium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium and lutetium) by AAS, ICP OES and/or ICP- MS;
- Other metals: antimony, barium, beryllium, calcium, cesium, cobalt, iron, gallium, gallium, lithium, magnesium, manganese, gold, potassium, sodium, uranium and zinc by AAS, ICP OES and/or ICP- MS;
- Fluoride by IC and/or potentiometry;
- Iodine and bromine by IC and/or ICP-MS;
- Boron, sulfur, phosphorus, selenium and silicon by (AAS ICP OES and/or ICP-MS;
- Ashes by gravimetry);
- Water by Karl Fisher Titration.
