What is it?
Sisu is a computerized system established by the Ministry of Education (MEC) through which Brazilian public higher education institutions offer student places to applicants according to their performance on the Brazilian National High School Exam (ENEM). For updated information on student places, programs, calls for application, and latest editions, please visit ufsm.br/sisu and ufsm.br/pro-reitorias/prograd/sisu.
How to apply?
Access the online application form at sisu.mec.gov.br during the dates set by the Federal Government. You are required to input your ENEM score, which will be considered for inclusion in the applicants’ list, organized based on the highest grades. Once you are accepted, you should provide the following documentation to confirm your enrollment:
- High School or Equivalent Transcript
- High School or Equivalent Certificate
- Birth or Marriage Certificate
- Photo ID
- Voter ID
- Military ID (for male applicants over 18 years-old)
- Statement of Equivalence/Validation of Studies (according to the 155/80 Resolution by the State Board of Education)
- Medical Certificate of Fitness for Physical Activity (if applying for Physical Education studies)
What is it?
