O NPPDI – Núcleo de Pesquisa e Práticas em Direito Internacional (CNPq/UFSM) convida para a 19ª edição do Ciclo de Debates em Direito Internacional:

O DIREITO INTERNACIONAL COMO CAMPO DO CONHECIMENTO

O Direito Internacional não é apenas um conjunto de normas, é também um campo de conhecimento, constituído por profissionais, práticas, instituições, tradições intelectuais e formas de expertise que disputam autoridade para dizer o que o direito é e o que ele deve ser. O 19º Ciclo de Debates em Direito Internacional propõe olhar para a própria disciplina como objeto de investigação, discutindo como ideias circulam, como comunidades profissionais se formam, como determinados saberes adquirem autoridade e como diferenças de posição, trajetória e geografia moldam aquilo que reconhecemos como “internacional”. Ao colocar o campo sob investigação, o Ciclo convida a tornar visíveis as relações entre conhecimento, prática e poder que conformam o Direito Internacional.
