On January 6, 2025, IN PRPGP N. 001/2025 was published, establishing the procedures for the simplified admission of international students to the Graduate Programs at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). This initiative leverages unfilled vacancies from regular selection processes and offers additional supplementary vacancies.

Master: Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering

Doctorate: Graduate degree in Engineering or Electronics Engineering and Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Master Degree in Electronics Engineering

Inscriptions are made by sending the necessary documentation to the email foreignstudentapplication.ppgee@ufsm.br
The results will be announced according to the schedule specified in each public notice. The start of the master’s or doctoral program is expected to occur in the current semester, in line with the dates provided in each notice.
The required documentation and the process dates are detailed in the Simplified Public Notice for International Students, which will be published each semester.
